1. Accounts and service use
Keep your login secure and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
OpenInk provides design drafts and planning tools, not medical advice or a guarantee that a design is safe to tattoo. Review placement, sizing, skin condition, and final execution with a qualified tattoo artist.
2. Credits and generations
A standard successful generation currently uses 10 Credits. Failed or cancelled work is handled according to the product flow shown at the time.
Weekly Free Credits refresh on their schedule. Plus and Pro Credits are issued monthly and expire with their own monthly grant period instead of rolling over. Purchased Credit packs are additive and expire 12 months after purchase.
- When you upgrade, unused Credits already granted keep their original expiry, and the new plan grant receives its own expiry.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be removed when the related purchase is refunded, reversed, or found fraudulent.
3. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Plus and Pro subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly, three-month, or annual period unless cancelled through the store or payment provider managing the purchase. The price and billing period shown at checkout control the purchase.
Cancellation stops future renewal but normally keeps paid access until the current period ends. Deleting an OpenInk account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it separately through Apple, Google, Stripe, or the provider where it was purchased.
- App Store subscriptions are managed in the Apple Account subscription settings.
- Refund requests are decided by the payment provider under its rules. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, the related membership access and unused Credits may be withdrawn.
4. Designs and usage rights
Subject to these terms and third-party rights, you may use the designs generated for your account for personal or commercial tattoo work. Outputs may not be unique, and OpenInk does not promise exclusivity.
You must have permission to upload reference images and must check names, portraits, brands, copyrighted artwork, cultural symbols, and other protected material before using a result. Do not redistribute OpenInk models, system prompts, or service access.
5. Safety, acceptable use, and availability
Do not use OpenInk for illegal, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content, or to interfere with the service. Community posts may be moderated, removed, or restricted.
We may update, pause, limit, or discontinue features when needed for safety, maintenance, provider changes, or legal compliance. We will not intentionally reduce already-paid access without an appropriate remedy where required by law.
