1. How to request deletion
Select Start deletion request and sign in to your OpenInk account. The page submits your deletion request to the backend queue.
The backend processes deletion asynchronously: it removes OpenInk business data and images first, then deletes the Clerk login record.
- If you cannot sign in, contact [email protected] from the account email so we can help verify ownership.
- OpenInk will not require you to reinstall the app to submit this request.
2. Data deleted
Deletion removes or anonymizes your OpenInk account profile, authentication link, generated tattoo designs, uploaded reference images, InkMuse sessions, InkCanvas files, saved gallery items, and support data that is no longer required.
After deletion, you lose access to your gallery, credits, subscription benefits, and design history.
3. Data we may retain
We may retain limited records when needed for payment receipts, tax and accounting duties, chargebacks, fraud prevention, security investigations, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
Retained records are limited to what is necessary for those purposes and are not used to rebuild your deleted gallery or design workspace.
4. Timing and subscriptions
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Complex requests involving payment disputes, abuse investigations, or legal retention duties may take longer, and we will explain the status by email.
Deleting an OpenInk account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment provider. Cancel the subscription in the store or payment account where it was purchased.
